It is suitable for measuring internal and external dimensions and depth measurements up to 150 mm. Four measurement methods

With greater precision than a folding rule or tape measure, you can measure in four different ways with the Optimus caliper: internal dimensions, external dimensions, depth dimensions and step measurement. For internal and external measurements, use the measuring jaws and for depth measurements, use the measuring pin that slides out of the back of the ruler. This digital caliper has a measuring accuracy of 0.01 mm.

To measure

Before you take a measurement, you must first 'zero' the caliper by sliding it completely closed and pressing the zero button. After this you can measure the shape and your measurement can then be read digitally in inches or millimeters. 'Zeroing' is possible in any position, which is useful for more complex measurements.
